This family has become very dear to me, I photographed their wedding back in 2014 and I think we instantly got along. On their wedding day I just knew that these two were in it for the long haul, their love for each other is something really special.

When I found out that Lia was pregnant I was so excited for her I knew this was something that they had wanted for a some time.

I got in touch with Lia and Leif as I really wanted to start offering ‘Fresh 48’ newborn sessions to my clients, and I was so happy that they wanted to go ahead with it. I have wanted to offer Fresh 48 sessions for since having Oliver and transitioning to lifestyle portraiture for my family work. Some of my favourite images of when Oliver was a newborn was the images I took in the hospital, we had photos of his first bath, feeding and lots of cuddles. These are the memories I treasure the most and if I feel this way then surely this is something my clients would love also.

If you are interested in a fresh 48 newborn session please get in touch, these sessions are generally done in the first 48 hours after birth in hospital but we can do similar in your home.

I received some lovely words from Lia and Leif about their session, that I wanted to share:

“OMG Lucinda you have out done your self!!! We love all of them!
This is a great service your offering as parents dont get the chance to have photos like this together and are too sleep deprived to get them done. You have captured these special moments perfectly.”

Mark and Min’s day was a very happy one, there was no wiping those smiles off their faces thats for sure!

Their ceremony was a Cummins House and then we ventured to Glenelg beach for some stunning sunset creatives.

Wishing these two all the best in what I hope will be a very long and happy life together xx

I can’t believe how slack I have been at blogging lately! I recently photographed Danielle and Mark’s wedding but a couple of months before that I did this engagement session for them.

It was a mix between family and engagement and was so much fun. It is always best to include your children in your engagement session with your wedding photographer (especially if they are young). It just means we aren’t so scary on the big day and they already know who we are 🙂

Charlie is a little champ, I photographed him when he was only a few days old so to see him as a toddler was very special. He has kind of stolen my heart, little cutie.

I cannot wait to share Danielle and Mark’s wedding in the coming weeks, it is something pretty special.
