It was so lovely to catch up with Toni and Andrew recently for their engagement session. I cannot wait to capture their wedding March 2016 in McLaren Vale!
When I woke up on Adam and Jade’s big day I was a little worried about the weather it was drizzly most of the morning and as I made the trip down to McLaren Vale it seemed to get worse. But the sun decided to make its appearance at Serafino Wines and it turned into the perfect day for them!
Adam and Jade currently live in Canberra but decided to get married in Adelaide close to Adam’s family so we didn’t get to properly meet until the week before their wedding at their engagement session. Their daughter Tahlia took a little bit to get used to me but by the end of the wedding I think she grew to like me, waiving and smiling at me 🙂
It was a beautiful day filled with so much laughter and happiness and I am so grateful I was asked to capture this wedding day for this gorgeous family.
The beautiful ceremony was conducted by one of my favourite celebrants Camille Abbott!
It’s always such an honour to be invited back to photograph a previous couples family on another special day in their lives. It is a feeling that never gets old and it something I treasure as their families almost feel like they are my family, it is very special to capture.
Ryan and Samara were married in the Adelaide Hills at a top secret location 😉 well maybe not anymore because it seems to be getting more and more popular for weddings with its beauty! The Secret Garden Stirling is a stunning home in the Adelaide Hills and the lovely owners are kind enough to hire their stunning garden out for weddings. It was the perfect scenery for Ryan and Samara’s wedding. Witnessing these two get married was truly special, you could definitely feel the love and I don’t think they could hide it even if they tried from the huge smiles they had on their faces the entire day.
After the ceremony we went to Blackwood Forrest for some photos of the bridal party and themselves then onto the reception at The Ed in Mitcham. The reception was cocktail which meant that I got to photograph some happy faces mingling around the room. I have to say the best part about the night was actually the speeches, usually one of the parts that is just a formality and can sometimes go for a bit long but for this wedding it was a highlight. You see they both had a secret that they were dyeing to tell, the sex of their beautiful baby due in March next year!
I hope you enjoy this glimpse into Ryan and Samara’s beautiful wedding day!
