Simone and Steven’s engagement session. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding late 2015.
2014 has almost come to an end so it is time for me to review my year and what a year it has been. My first full year taking Lucinda May Photography full time and this couldn’t of been done without every single one of my clients and supporters of my work.
I am so blessed to have worked with 20 lovely couples on their weddings this year, each wedding has been as beautiful as the next and I have thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone. This may be my ‘job’ but you all definitely don’t make me feel this way, I absolutely love what I do and the people I get to meet along the way.
2014 may be almost over but I am still busily getting ready for 2015 to hit! I am so lucky to have already been booked for most of next year BUT in saying that I do have a few dates available next year, mostly for the winter season and October/December. I will be taking the next few weeks off sessions but will still be here behind the scenes so if you would like to see if I am available for your date send me an email and we can talk WEDDINGS!
Again THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me through the last year, it means so much to me it truly does!
I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A LOVELY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR.
Lots of love,
lucinda may xx
P.S. 2016 is starting to book up so if you are getting married in 2016 and would like me to photograph your wedding, the earlier the better to get in contact with me to lock in your date!
On the morning of Alex and Sarah’s wedding I was so excited the day was finally here, it had been so long since our initial meeting. Anyone who knows Alex and Sarah you will know they aren’t a quiet couple and are so lovely, after speaking with them for 5 minutes you feel like you have been friends for ages. That is how I felt on their wedding day, like I was watching my friends walk down the isle and I really hope we can remain in touch.
Alex and Sarah held their wedding in Hahndorf at The White House Adelaide Hills (a favourite venue of mine!) and chose to do a first look at Thiele House. I don’t do many first looks but I have to say it is if you want a more intimate way of seeing your soon to be Mr or Mrs for the first time it is a great idea! And of course if you would rather spend the time in between the ceremony and reception with your guests instead of having photos taken. Unfortunately this November day wasn’t the sunniest of days in fact it was quite stormy and gloomy so we did decide to do some creative photos after the ceremony as well as the first look as the sun decided to make an appearance just as Sarah walked to her ceremony.
Wishing Alex, Sarah and their family all the best!
I have to give credit to Illume Flowers & Events they did an amazing job of the flowers, they were stunning!
