Jason and Amanda’s wedding was on a family property in Middleton on the Fleurieu Peninsula and it was truly devine! Jason and Amanda originally found me through Style Me Pretty when my styled boho shoot was published. From that first email I knew their wedding would be nothing but amazing.
Amanda describes their day as “rusted steel, rose gold sequins, blush dresses, old wooden wonders and our little boys with bowties in a love filled field” and I couldn’t agree more. Being at a family property there was no time constraints so it was a very relaxed day, with no running behind schedule which is a change as there wasn’t one!
This wedding was a mix of boho and rustic with pretty much everything being DIY including the amazing kissing booth, light up love letters and their very original way of a ‘guest book’. (I bet you wouldn’t guess that Jason works with metal for his day job? hehe) Amanda and Jason took DIY to a new level sourcing all the chairs/furniture by themselves from opshops and salvage yards, I remember her telling me that her house resembled an overcrowded antique store in the end but it was worth it!
I hope you enjoy Jason and Amanda’s wedding photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them for this very lovely couple!
