Kim and Jin’s wedding was my first back from the Covid restrictions. I was so excited to be back doing what I love, photographing weddings!
When Jin and Kim first booked me, their wedding plans were totally different to what came to life. I remember them telling me they wanted to have their wedding by the beach with all of their family and friends. They were looking forward to having Kim’s parents there who live overseas and just having a good time with everyone.
Unfortunately their plans had to change a little with Covid. Like with many of my couples I chatted with them numerous times about what their plans might look like if restrictions were in place. At one point they were going to elope and I would be one of their witnesses.
In the end we ended up in the Adelaide Hills at The Manor with an intimate guest total of 10 people and Kim’s parents on Zoom watching from their home.
I haven’t done a wedding this intimate before but I have to say it really was lovely to be apart of and makes me want to get into doing elopements a little more.
Although the wedding was a little different to what Kim and Jin first planned, it was still a spectacular day and one they will cherish.
I also loved being back at The Manor Basket Range, this venue is so stunning. Its like getting married at a castle and their gardens are perfect any time of year.
