I absolutely adore Kangaroo Island, it is such a beautiful place. So when Brianna and Nick invited me to photograph their Kangaroo Island wedding on their family farm of course I said yes! These two are super lovely and their two kids eventually warmed up to me. I had so much fun with these guys, a highlight wedding for me.

Have printed lots of photos and gallery frame of my favourite and will soon start on the photo book! How could I not!?
Can you give any tips for couples on how to prepare for the wedding photos?
Just relax and be natural My favourite photos are the ones where we are laughing because you feel like you are reliving it looking at it.
How did you two love birds meet?
Nothing super romantic just through a friend.
Who popped the question and how did it happen? Was it a surprise? Spill…
Nick popped the question, on the jetty where I walked while I was in labour with our daughter.
How long was your engagement & how long did you have to plan your wedding and did you plan the wedding yourself?
We got engaged and then had another baby! So we waited a bit and planned the wedding ourselves, Nick is very handy and built pretty much everything we used
Were you nervous walking down the aisle?
Very nervous, I’ve never felt that nervous in my life.
What was your favourite moment(s) from your beautiful wedding day?
My favourite moment was of course seeing nick when i walked down the isle and when it got to our speeches they were just the best and then I knew we could just dance and relax!
How would you describe your overall wedding day experience?
What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding?
It’s definitely a team effort, and don’t put too much pressure on it, it’s all about your day not what everyone else wants.
Where did you escape to for your honeymoon? Would you recommend it to other couples?
We will be staying at the Oceanview Eco Villas on KI, we haven’t got to stay there yet but have only heard good reports.
If you are looking to get married on Kangaroo Island and need a photographer please get in touch. I try to keep my travel fees to a minimum because I love this place so much! You can view more weddings I have photographed on KI here.
