Our experience with Lucinda was wonderful .. she is friendly, approachable, down to earth and very relaxed.. especially on the big day!
We would definitely recommend Lucinda, she captured some very special “in the moment” images of our special day which blew our minds when we saw them!
We purchased an 8 hour photography package and wedding album for our coffee table where we can look back on the memories with our friends and family.
Be yourself, enjoy the day.. remember to breathe and take time to “smell the roses”. It is amazing how it all shines through in Lucinda’s images.
We met through extended family and within a few dates we were official! It all happened quite quickly and before we knew it we were travelling overseas, renovating houses and getting engaged and married.
Jimmy popped the question on the back of a cruise ship exiting the Sydney Harbour heading to New Caledonia. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.. of course I said yes! He had it all planned out and even got my ring size by using an imprint of one of my rings with bluetac.. so sneaky!
Our engagement was only 8 months and we had 6 months of wedding planning which we did all ourselves! It is amazing how quickly you can get things moving along.
I was nervous on the day of the wedding, but felt a sense of calm when I arrived at the venue and walked down the isle. I took a moment to take a deep breath and smell my bouquet just before I walked down the isle.
It is so hard to pick our favourite moment, our wedding day was the best day of our lives! We loved all of it and wouldn’t change a thing. But I will never forget when our eyes met as I walked down the isle. Our first dance was a lot of fun, we had a few dance lessons and rocked out to one of our favourite songs from Metallica “Nothing Else Matters”.
We really wanted a casual, relaxed, intimate and rustic style wedding at a local winery in McLaren Vale, our dance floor was pumping all night long. It was such a fun day and night, one we will never forget.
Start a spread sheet to help keep on top of suppliers / costs and to help you organise where things are at. Chose suppliers that are easy to work with and ones that you can trust. Try to relax and have fun along the way as the process goes so quickly so you need to savour the moments and enjoy the experience.. its the best day of your life!
We escaped to the USA for 4 weeks for our honeymoon as it was our first time there. We experienced Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco, and Texas (San Antonio, Bandera the Cowboy Capital, Austin) and finally Hawaii on the way home. Our favourite spot was Texas and would definitely recommend it to others! We went horse riding, experienced some old Cowboy bars and restaurants and stayed at a Guest Ranch. The locals were great!
