Tell me how you two met?
We met working across the hall from each other.  Will used to always sneak peaks into my office and we would exchange smiles and waves from across the hall. We used to bump into each other on the way to the bathroom for about 12 months before Will rustled up the courage to ask me on a date. He was too shy to ask me out sooner. I used to go home and tell my friends that there was a cute guy that works across the hall which made for some entertaining chats.

What hooked you in what was the moment you decided they were the one?
It was love at first sight for both of us. We both knew from day 1.

Who proposed? Tell me the story, was it a huge surprise? Tell me everything 🙂
Will proposed on a weekend in Melbourne as we were heading over for the Australian Open. We went on a morning walk to a lookout that overlooked the Melbourne CBD. Will got down on one knee and then we went out for a champagne breakfast. We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating with all of our friends who had also come over for the Australian Open.

Who chose the ring? Was that a surprise? Was the size right – haha?
With inspiration taken from Sarah’s mum’s ring, Will had the ring made by a jeweller with guidance from his mum. The process of getting the ring made was around 6 months. It was perfect in every way.

Why did you want engagement photos? Why is this important to you?
The engagement photos allowed us to meet Lucinda and get to know the types of photos she will be taking on the day and also get to the know the types of poses you need to do on your wedding day. I highly recommend doing this because now we feel 100% comfortable taking these types of photos on the day.  Lucinda was amazing and made us feel very comfortable.

Is there a story surrounding the location you had your photos taken at? Significance? Proposal?
We had our engagement photos taken at Mount Osmond where we walk our French Bulldog Hank each day.  It’s a beautiful location and were so lucky to have this as walking distance from our house.

Do you have any tips for other couples preparing for their engagement session?
Make sure that you have a lot of fun. We were laughing the whole time which made the photos look more Natural. Lucinda will guide the whole photoshoot so just trust what she recommends. The photos came out even better than we could have imagined 🙂
